SN TT League Round 7 - Results

With the mercury rising, a bumper field of 23 riders turned up the competition this evening with the overall podium being filled with a clean sweep of sub 22minute rides.

VCN’s Jacob Chambers led the way with 21:41, with Dan Blackburn of Epic Orange pipping CCB’s Tom Carroll by a mere 3 seconds to take second in 21:54. Team Skipper’s Nathan Risbey took fourth, 3 seconds ahead of CCB’s Adam Cross with times of 22:52 and 22:55 respectively - Adam’s first sub 23min ride of the year.

Sandy Telfer of NABC took a comprehensive win in the Road Bike category in 23:09 ahead of Geoff Frost, Team VeloVelocity, in 24:58 and Philip Hargreaves, VCN, in 25:33.

David Collier of Rider Harder took the top spot in Division 2 with a time of 24:02, closely followed by Tri Harder’s Jack Foord in 24:13. CCB’s Mark Fairhead led the way in Division 3 with a time of 25:44 ahead of James Oxebury of VCN and Michael Wood of CCB. Tri Harder’s Louise Baker snuck under the magic 30minute mark in 29:47 sealing the victory in the Female category ahead of the improving Hazel Brain of Tri Anglia with a good time of 30:56.
